Newcastle Airport

Newcastle airport is a child friendly airport.  Whether your little ones want to go and buy their favourite comic or get some treats from Biza tax and duty free, there are many ways to keep your children entertained.  Not forgetting the great view of the airfield from the departure lounge- the perfect spot to watch planes navigate the skies, and keep your children and yourselves fascinated!

Baby changing facilities

There are four baby change stations situated throughout the airport – two of which are landside (before security and passport control), the other two being airside (after security and passport control). They are clearly signed and located alongside the toilets.  There is also a Boots in the departure lounge, just incase you forgot some nappies!

The GameGrid

This is geared more towards slightly older children. The GameGrid includes dance mats, slot machines, an air hockey table, and even a soccer machine where you can brush up on your goal scoring skills.  Just make sure your children want to leave for their flight!

Biza Tax & Duty Free

Biza stocks an impressive amount of sweets, travel games and selection of toys for children. Providing the opportunity for children to keep entertained both on ground and at 35,000ft!  Make sure you check it out for their latest offers!

Food

Most of our food outlets cater for children’s tastes with a range of baby feeding facilities and childrens meals.  Real Food Company has a pièce de resistance for children; a chocolate fountain where fruit kebabs or muffins can be dipped in molten chocolate right in front of their eyes!

WH Smith

A great chance to stock up on puzzle books or colouring pencils for the long flight ahead.
