Travelling to Florida with your baby

Many parents worry more about the flight than they do about any other aspect of the holiday. It’s helpful to remember that airlines, especially those flying to Orlando, are really used to carrying families with babies and toddlers and you’ll be welcomed on board. It’s also unlikely that yours will be the only, or the noisiest, baby on your flight.

Booking your baby’s flight to Florida

The first decision you’ll need to make is whether you want your baby to have its own seat on the aircraft. Infants under two can be seated on your lap and pay an infant price, or pay a child price and have their own seat.

Babies on a plane

You will have to leave your buggy at the door of the aircraft and this will probably be put in the hold for you. Once you are seated, one of the cabin crew will come round and give you an infant seatbelt.
