What should I do when I come back at the end of my holiday?
When you come back to the airport, follow the signs towards Terminal A or B, depending upon the airline you are travelling with. Each is clearly signposted on the approach road. If you are travelling with Virgin Atlantic, with Travel City Direct, you’ll need Terminal A. Follow the signs for car rental drop-off, then look for signs to Dollar and/or Dollar Thrifty.
As you drive your car into the garage, an agent will direct you into a drop off lane. You’ll leave the car in this lane once the agent has checked the car over, noted the mileage etc., and taken delivery of your keys and, if you have one, your sat nav system.
You can leave any car seats in the car, we’ll take care of them.
You can hire a trolley from the garage – the cost of this is currently $4 per trolley – or simply carry your luggage up the escalators or in the lift, and over the road to the main terminal building to check in for your flight home.
